THE BLACKHAT SEO CONSPIRACY: Learn What Google Forgot to Tell us!

2010-08-17
Wikipedia describes search engine optimization (SEO) as the method of improving the number or value of traffic to a web site from search engines via "normal" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results as opposed to search engine marketing (SEM) which deals with paid inclusion. notice of the expression "paid inclusion."  What they are referring to is "purchasing links."  Here this is a novel observation.  If you buy Google ads for your website is that not a "paid inclusion?"  If you pay to be in the Yahoo directory is that a "paid inclusion?"  Google is comparable a mom and dad telling their youngster do not do what I do, do as I say!

It has been said that Blackhat SEO is mutually a fabrication and a reality.  Everybody doing SEO will have to confront this procedure at some occasion.  Not to face the Blackhat SEO approach is to exist in denial.  The BH methods today are the grey and white hat methods of tomorrow. It's an essential truth; innovations often transpire within the Blackhat community of SEOs.  These techniques are studied, tailored, and finally adopted into white hat SEO.  The thing about the Blackhat World is that these members are original and forward thinking.

It has been said many times  that you ought to be familiar with with SEO to figure out how Google's algorithm can be exploited.  This is a good thing for countless reasons but for the majority it is vital for two reasons:

1.  You can get a reliable awareness of your competition and how they get the "edge" on Google.
2.  You get information and techniques you can make use of to advance in the Google search engine.

We are all aware that information is power.  What scores of people don't appreciate is that the majority of Black Hat proceedures are not Blackhat at all!  Blackhat is like a double edged sword.

A number of people believe that Blackhat SEO is for the weak.  They go to say Black Hatters are individuals you can't win the game and have to resolve to dishonesty. In my opinion, even if you don't want to take advantage of what some call Black Hat SEO to advance your website it is helpful know  your competition and what they are doing.  That's only common sense.

Some White Hat purists go as far as claiming that purchasing aged domains that are expired is Blackhat SEO.  In a respectable business model purchasing old domains and reviving them makes perfect sense.  The age of the domain is valuable in Google's algorithm so you have a head start on your competition.  And what is the distinction if I want to sell my domain to someone?  Going further, is Microsoft's Bing doing Blackhat by buying data and content from Yahoo?  All this begs the question; who makes the rules on the internet?

Fake news reports are often seen as blackhat.  From a marketing strategy they are seen as brilliant.  This technique is done everyday by the media but it is never referred to as Blackhat!  Really, people throw around the term Blackhat SEO so much it has little meaning.

The Blackhat World of SEO is so much more than hacking, rogue bots, keyword stuffing and so on.  In reality, hacking is not actually viewed as Blackhat by the Blackhat World.  The Blackhat World SEO is predominantly concentrated on methods to advance a website or how to make money online.

Google and Whitehat SEO members would have you believe that automating software to  you in posting in your blogs for instance, is Blackhat.  They are in opposition to any automated software devoted towards SEO.  Granted allot of software and scripts in the Blackhat World have been made to exploit Google.  However you just can't paint the Blackhat World SEO with a broad brush.  There are heaps of ways you can exercise that can assist your website ranking well in Google that are not from the Dark Side of the Blackhat World.

If you go to any website that offers freelancing you will find allot of Black Hat people from all over the world.  They offer to submit your website to thousands of websites for pennies.  They tell you that all of these submissions are completed by hand.  You have to read between the lines with claims like this.

First, if you are foolish enough to fall for this, a thousand back links to your website will hoist a gigantic red flag for Google if it is prepared in a brief period of time. Secondly, your website will soar in the SERPs however you will collapse hard coming down in a very quick time.  And, when you take a good peek at your links and you will find they are from a paid directory and your anchor text is non existent.  This is the kind of practice I label Black Hat.

Then again, if you find a honest individual to do this, who took time to locate quality back links for you and did this over a month, then I would call it White Hat.  The plan is use  programmed SEO software with restraint so your results give the impression of being organic or naturally produced.  Don't get greedy or foolish.

Here is one last illustration of automating software for twitter for scheduling and repeating tweets.  Automatically tweeting RSS feeds from yours or other blogs is good as long as the Twitter account has a bona fide person attending it who tweets manually,  as well.  Again, moderation is the key to making it look organic and natural.

Here is a declaration by White Hat people who have plenty of money for Google ads and have no conception of the extreme competition on the internet nowadays.  "If your content is worth a damn you won't need to trick readers or bots with fake substance.  I invested time into the content and usability of my site and it's returned a 350% jump in my traffic last year. I'm getting links you can't begin to fake or even buy.  Make sites for people, not search engines."

This is great stuff for your "arm chair philosopher."  Truth is that you are competing alongside various Blackhat SEO savvy people who can have their site indexed in 3 days and have a position on the first page on the 4 days! And the odd thing is they are not using Blackhat SEO to do this!  If you want to compete these days on the internet and you want to be noticeable, you need have to know the cutting edge of SEO.  You need to understand what up-to-the-minute and pioneering methods the Blackhat World is doing with their SEO.

Now to set the record staright, here are some of the Black Hat SEO tactics along with other top Google searches used these days:

It is regrettable how many website owners have no image of what BLACK HAT SEO truly is.  This misconception is time and again passed down by their webmasters.  Some people who are ill informed often have two main mistakes in their belief concerning black hat seo.

-White Hat Approaches are moral where Black Hat Approaches aren't.  FALSE!
-Black Hat Tactics are in all probability illegal, moreover that there is a slight possibility that White Hat strategies     are unlawful also!  FALSE!

When using black hat SEO, the content on a page and links both on and to a page are developed for search engines to notice and are unreadable by humans.   This method is way outdated.  Google's bot can locate nearly all cloaking used nowadays and using this out-of-date practice could get a website sandboxed.

Admittedly, there are techniques of automating content however this content is not cloaked or concealed from the Google bot.  Now White Hat SEO people will have you believe that this method is functional merely for search engines.  False.  The fact of the matter is Webmasters want people to come to their websites.  Some of the produced content is targeted towards key words.  If a person looks for a specific keyword they may click on the content (in a blog for example), you have produced.   But you want them to read the content and to obtain your product or services.

Some White Hat SEO people argue that, when using white hat tactics, the content and links are designed for both humans and search engines to see. This implies they must be not less than coherent. The mistake that many white hat practitioners make is to produce visible yet ugly pages that don't read well, and therefore don't convert well.  Doesn't mean they are using Black Hat SEO when they write bad content?

Some like Black Hat SEO as being at WAR with Google.  Clearly that is correct to some extent.  If you have a business don't you would like to promote it in order to earn money.  Obviously and it is the same way with marketing on the internet.  The problem is getting your website or product seen by Google.  You have got to aggressive in your advertising strategies on the internet at the present time.  This is mostly factual at the present that Google has changed its algorithm.  You want a more aggressive marketing war at the present or you will have to pay Google to promote for you with its adwords!

I have heard White Hatters pronounce that the white hat method is either to pay no attention to search engines largely, or to act toward search engines in a friendly way.  Yes and if they truly think that way they've got their heads buried in the sand.

Now let us observe at the White Hat World for a second time.  They declare that there is a misconception that white hat practitioners stringently follow search engine rules and they do not.  They go further to say that they frequently don't read the Terms of Service for Google plus they often position a robots text files on their websites.  In addition, they utilize meta tags; and free and paid submission when suitable.  What they fail to point out is that they will make use of automated software that bypasses captcha codes.  Plus general thinking is that using this sort of software is Black Hat SEO.

Note that Black Hat SEO if often done on Web 2.0 properties and that links from those properties go to the main website. Most Black Hat SEO webmasters never put their website in harms way!

White Hatters argue that there's at all times a threat that a site will accidentally or by design be removed from a search engine's index.  They go further to declare that Black Hat tactics will always amplify the chance that a site will be deliberately deleted from a search engine's index.  Nice fear practice but this is very incorrect.  If I apply an automated bookmark bot to submit my blog to, there is no way Google can or will sandbox me.  These are false assertions put forth by White Hat SEO people.  As a rule these companies employ all types of automated software themselves.  Granted, there are black hat methods not done correctly will place your website in harms way.

White hat practitioners state they they often work with their client's key domain only.   They may well offer a guarantee that the domain is not going to be deliberately deleted from a search engine's index as a consequence of incorporating their procedures. In spite of this, what about using blogs from blogging sites similar to Ning, Blogger and Wordpress as an example to advertise your website.  What about building those blogs up as well as linking them to your website.  Is that Blackhat?  NO!.  White Hat SEO people have their very own vested interests putting forth this kind of rubbish.  They would like to scare newbies into doing business with them.

Ever more people are educating themselves on the subject of Black Hat SEO.  If you are not able to afford Google Ads or employing a White Hat SEO person to undertake your work some Black Hat techniques could be employed.  Constantly remember that moderation is the key.  Even Black Hat SEO has rules of engagement when it pertains to combating Google.
